View our Mission at Vintage Life Farm

Welcome to Vintage Life Farm! It is our passion to live a simpler life, embracing the traditions of generations past and sharing it with the world around us. Please take a few minutes to look around, see what we’re about, and follow our journey as we endeavor to move deeper into a sustainable and vintage-era life at 9,200 feet in the beautiful Colorado mountains.

We are a small animal farm located in the town of Divide, Colorado. Nestled on the west side of Pikes Peak, the altitude and weather make a great home for our chickens, goats, livestock guardian dogs—and even the humans! With cooler winters and snowfall, and warm (yet not too hot) summers, the environment is an ideal place to raise animals, giving them desirable living conditions to grow and thrive.

My name is Kari, and I am the founder of Vintage Life Farm, LLC. In April of 2019, I moved with my husband and two children 80 miles south of where we spent our married lives and started life in a new town with a new direction. We purchased a 35-acre property that has a lodge and five cabins, circa 1900, which we are renovating ourselves as time allows. For two seasons, we opened one of our renovated cabins as a VRBO rental. As for the farm, we are in the beginning stages but always growing—living out the dream that has slowly unfolded over the past 15 years of my life.

As Vintage Life Farm grows, we will continue to sell our farm-fresh eggs from pasture-raised hens to the local community, venture into raising meat birds, and slowly expand our garden so we can grow as much of our own food as possible—and sell specific produce locally. We currently have one dairy goat still supplying us with milk (we have five ladies total). I am also incorporating my business of 15 years into the farm—I now sell my handcrafted skincare line and apothecary items exclusively on vintagelifefarm.com. You can find more information about our products on the shop page.

We’d love for you to join our journey—two kids who grew up in the suburbs of the Denver metro area, but always dreamed of owning land and living a simpler, more sustainable life. Our dreams have finally started becoming a reality, and each day we step further into the desires we’ve carried in our hearts for this lifestyle. We want to share and pass along the simplicity of a vintage-era lifestyle and hope we can impact your life in some way. May you learn to live a more beautiful life, as generations past did, and find new traditions to pass along to your family.
